Interviewers honestly expect you to care about the company but honestly, unless you are a big corporation like fucken Google nobody really wants to work for you, we just wanna get paid. Interviews are such BS.

So here are the main points I can bring up in my Schnucks interview:
    - I actually admire that this is a company that makes an effort to give back to the community (charity organizations). They don't just serve the customer, but take care of the neighborhood.
    - They are constantly growing their store with the ever-growing needs of the customers, like how they adopted a delivery service for those who can't afford to do a walk-in to buy their products.
    - Since they are a family-owned company with the fourth generation running things now, their main mission is to have a warm and friendly atmosphere with employees that not only make them feel helped but comfortable in the store, able to rely on the store just as you would a family member.

Today I had the most memorable ‘go-right’ interview from one of the most prestige’s colleges out there, for an IT Desktop support position. Guess what their first question was? Hello so and-so, what do you know about us? I NAILED IT! All because of your videos! I told them when they were founded, the vision and it’s mission. It all fell into place that to you! I’ll keep you posted when I get the offer letter but I am confident my answers were straight to the point and I brung our examples as well. Guess what? There were two people in the interview and the actual one who will be my IT team leader had no questions throughout the interview. Lol. Thanks again. Keep inspiring.

You don’t need to force yourself to smile artificially through your video, i think if you just be yourself & talk normal, it makes your video more interesting for the audience. This is my suggestion. Thanks

To be honest any answer to this question will be a lie I mean if you were a multimillionaire, odds are so you wouldn't want to work at the job you're applying too. So in short the truth is for most people is, "I have Bill's to pay" lol but yeah dont say that

So, say something 'they' want to say related to the company mantra & culture of course. Act like you know what a 'team' means, even if it's just 3 persons. All simple & easy to figure out. Of course, if I won the lottery, I'd not be working anywhere, but living life and listening to people, helping those who I met that expressed themselves the same way, without asking them----: (in my head, 'shall I help this person get/do/enjoy [whatever they say], probably. The game would be different. I'd be my own 'company' and would probably contribute to worthy charities, or create a Real, worthy and effective non-profit that really assisted with serious things as homelessness, which I could easily imagine how to do, and climate change awareness, poverty & inequality. It'd be nice to be someone like Musk, or Gates, and devote monies and resources to real issues. ----But until then, I'll say what they want to hear, on why I'd want to work there. Work---such a '4-letter word'.

Hi Heather! Your advice is great and the way you communicate is clear and understandable. If I can just offer one suggestion, consider removing the background music from your videos. Your content is solid enough to hold up your video on its own ~ the music distracts from what you are saying. Keep up the great work!

Let's be honest here...and not just be fake because
    THEY KNOW THE REAL ANSWER!!!
If we start stating that the company is the main reason we are applying,
    it's a lie!!!
We all have the same answers because of these 5 realistic facts: (By Priority)
1_ I found the listed job opening somewhere
2_ I meet the job qualifications, skills and duties
3_ I need to be employed or compensation package is better than current one
4_ This company's location may be closer than my current employer's location
5_ I like the company's mission and would like to contribute to that mission

This is the most lame examples an ignorant on the subject can give. You're giving us generic answers that a kid could find by himself. "Trust yourself and be genuine" Wow thanx Einstein I wasn't sure my head could put it together. Here are 3 steps to ANSWER this question.
    1- Research Company;
2- Let them know what you admire about the company; Ex: Values, team work, culture, history of the company, Leaders
3- Show with examples how working at their company will fit into your career e.q: what you can bring and how this fits the company
    Thank you

I blew this question on a phone interview. Can I recover it by putting my “why” in a thank you note? It’s for a utility company, which is super boring but has decent pay and benefits.

Another video packed with wisdom! Thank you again for providing incredibly effective content made simple. Another idea is to show that you’re committed for the long term with a vision response that projects what you want to specifically execute for the company and how that concept aligns with the company’s mission and culture. You’re truly the best Heather, much appreciated again!
